Its official......

Yay Pumpkin pie time again.

I am the worlds worst blogger!

I am so sorry I have been too lazy busy of late, I have just gotten out of the habit of blogging.

Anyway a quick run down on what I have been upto....

WP has bought a house!, We were supposed to close today on it but the "paperwork" was not quite ready! Blast!
Its just a basic 3 bed 2 bath 2 car garage ranch in St Charles.
It needs loads doing to it but its something to get our teeth into.
I will post a photo when I can.
He is so looking forward to a shorter drive to work (not to mention not fighting I-270 traffic everyday)
The downside is its miles to the nearest stores/shops/gyms, so I will be housebound for a while ( it's not like I will have nothing to do though eh?)
We are hoping that we can close on either Mon/Tue now* fingers crossed*

So of course I have been a busy bee packing and doing horrible jobs like cleaning the top of the kitchen cupboards etc ( so we get our deposit back). Have yet to clean the carpets, which is a good job because I have just threw a quarter bottle of death green nyquil all over the hall! ~ I was shaking it up and the lid wasn't quite on....
Hope its comes out....

Immigration has kept me busy too...

I have been and had my fingerprints & photograph taken - The lady was so nice she let me re-take my ID photo three times till I was happy with it!- Well I wont say I was actually happy with the third but it was better then the first & second!

I have also been for my medical, I was working my self into a state because I had read on some forums that they give you a full going over, strip down to nothing type of medical.
I went the first day , the nurse gave me the little jab to test for TB, took some blood and told me to come back in two days.

Two days later I went back ( now worrying I had HIV or some other nasty) Got sent into a little room to wait for the DR ( who was around 90- I swear). He shuffled in, said he had been in England during the war, looked in my mouth, listened to my chest ( through my jacket) asked me if I was mentally stable and left.
I was then sent into another room to be told I had no diseases and to receive some shots for MMR, tetanus and chicken pox.
That was it!
I think that was probably the quickest $210 I had spent.

So thats been sent off and I am now back to waiting...
of course I don't know if me now moving will hold things up further- I hope not!

Thats about it? I think.

Oh I have done a few blog designs here and there so I haven't been away from blogger long- Just my own blog!

I will take this opportunity to wish all my fellow bloggers a Happy Thanksgiving because lets face it, who knows when I will get around to my next blog....

Christmas maybe?

Seriously I hope everyone out there is fine and well, take care everyone and have a safe holiday.

As for me....I am off to bed.

22 inches of love....

I have been a little lax of late ( yes again).

I have excuses excuses excuses:

 • I have finally waded through my immigration paperwork all 4 inches of it and posted that with a substantial amount of money.

 • My feet are a lot better, I haven't been to the gym this week they have been far too painful, but have now started to itch, a sure sign they are on the mend.

 • As much as I love my laptop 80GB of hard drive simply is not enough ( As well as my 200BG external back up). So I have made the switch to a "grown up" PC.Thats the beauty of having a man who collects computer parts, I simply voiced my concern and "Walla" the same evening I had a custom made PC complete with 200 GB's.Not only that but he gave me his 22" flat screen! Yay!So I had to then begin the crappy job of installing all my software and transferring files again.
 • I have been doing some blog design.
But its all done now, I am mostly sorted!

Oh and I have been watching the survivorman marathon on TV all day as well.

 • We went to see the new Turtles movie on Thursday with WP's bro & his 2 kids. It was pretty good, the special effects were great.
 • Of course Sunday night was Soprano night.
 • I have also started to watch The Tudors(basically just about Henry VIII in his younger days), thats pretty good Jonathon Rhys Meyers is pretty cute too!

Alas not so cute in this revolting picture...

*Cuts Ribbon*

Time for a change...

I thought as spring is sort of here that I should brighten up a bit.

The book I re-ordered from e-Bay came yesterday(I ordered it new from an e-Bay store) so I will be occupied for quite a while.

Cant think of anything to report so I will leave you with this:

Let's be politically correct

Due to the climate of political correctness now pervading America, Kentuckians, Tennesseans and West Virginians will no longer be referred to as "HILLBILLIES."

You must now refer to them as APPALACHIAN-AMERICANS.

And furthermore .

HOW TO SPEAK ABOUT WOMEN AND BE POLITICALLY CORRECT :

 • 1. She is not a "BABE" or a "CHICK" - She is a"BREASTED AMERICAN."

 • 2. She is not "EASY" - She is "HORIZONTALLY ACCESSIBLE."

 • 3. She is not a "DUMB BLONDE" - She is a "LIGHT-HAIRED DETOUR OFF THE INFORMATION SUPERHIGHWAY."

 • 4. She has not "BEEN AROUND" - She is a "PREVIOUSLY-ENJOYED COMPANION."

 • 5 . She does not "NAG" you - She becomes "VERBALLY REPETITIVE."

 • 6. She is not a "TWO-BIT HOOKER" - She is a "LOW COST PROVIDER."

HOW TO SPEAK ABOUT MEN AND BE POLITICALLY CORRECT:

 • 1. He does not have a "BEER GUT" - He has developed a"LIQUID GRAIN STORAGE FACILITY."

 • 2. He is not a "BAD DANCER" - He is "OVERLY CAUCASIAN."

 • 3. He does not "GET LOST ALL THE TIME" - He "INVESTIGATES ALTERNATIVE DESTINATIONS."

 • 4. He is not "BALDING" - He is in "FOLLICLE REGRESSION."

 • 5. He does not act like a "TOTAL ASS" - He develops a case of RECTAL-CRANIAL INVERSION."

 • 6. It's not his "CRACK" you see hanging out of his pants - It's"REAR CLEAVAGE

Cant keep me down for long....

I am back and in fighting spirits...

Yesterday I had somewhat of a mini-meltdown, I wont go into the details it was so stupid.
So here I am.

I have a few moans and some niceness.
First the moans...
 • Wp's Brother People who use the last of the toilet roll and leave the empty roll sitting on the holder. Get off your ass open the cupboard and replace it!
 • Wp's Brother People who can plainly see the trash waiting to be taken out, yet walk right past it to leave the house, passing the trash dumpster on the way out! Where does it say its my job alone to take the trash out ?
Moans over, now the niceness..
I received an email today from Michele Rausch today, she was the young lady who sung the national anthem at the STL blues hockey game we went to.
She emailed me to thank me for mentioning her in my post. Wasn't that so sweet of here to take the time to email, it really brightened my day. Thanks Michele!

I have just finished the blog I was working on for Genevieve, she was a dream customer, just a few changes here and there but I pretty much had free reign.
Here it is :
Thats all people have a great day!

Randomness

Thanks guys for all the tips on your perfect scents. I will be checking them out when I can.

 • Nothing much to report, it's raining again in St Louis,it's beginning remind me of England !

 • This morning I spotted a beetle thing on the kitchen floor, I trapped it under a glass for WP to move, which he would'nt so it has sat there since. he did take out the trash though on his way to work- Bless him.

 • Have been busy working on a few blog orders over the last few days, gotta get them done fast because we are moving tomorrow. Only across the hall to a bigger place but I have no idea when the internet will be up and running. that and because everyone will be working it's down to lil'ole me to move the majority of our belongings.Which is cool but I am not looking forward to a mass spring clean of the old place! (*still recovering from cleaning the oven!)

 • WP has vowed he will no longer be joining me to watch America's next top model now Anchal has been sent packing. I think it is because she was the only one with any boobs so he see's no point in looking anymore. I don't even know who I want to win anymore, all my picks have been booted out. As long as it's not that bitch Melrose.

 • Fed-Ex is believed to be touting a four hour sex tape of him and Britters. Four hours ! I knew there must have been some reason she married him.

 • Disaster struck yesterday when doing laundry, I have lost a Tinkerbell sock ! I went back to look for it but someone else was using that dryer. Bugger!

Nothing else to report.
Over and out.

A ploy by Google ?

Yesterday blogger was "experiencing server issues" again for a few hours, no surprise there then.
I was trying to work, trying to complete an oder I had for a blog design everything was ready to go but thanks to blogger it had to wait.

In between trying to sign into blogger I thought I would fiddle around in my Beta blogger account, I set one up when they first decided everyone with a Gmail acount wanted (without being asked) a free Google Beta Blogger account too.
At the time HTML customisation was not an option, apart from the new "drag n drop" layout.

Now I find it is an option, for want of something better to do I modified the "Scribe" template they offer - you know the one, old parchment, horrible dark brown background.

Here is the result.
( I dont think there is a way to include sidebar header images, , its one of the things I am looking into at present)

Now I know it is an option I plan on trying (learning) how to (if in deed it can be done) incorporate my own templates into Beta.
I think it will be a long hard road with lots of tears and headaches but we will see.

So it can be done, although someone pointed out to me it would be "dis-honest" to alter someone elses template and offer them for sale (or even free). of course I knew that but my question was to whether I could Customise an already free blogger template and just claim credit for the images I created, not the code.

But in the meantime if anyone was stopping the switch to Beta simply because of the crappy templates then I can help you out with images to "do it yourself"

But it struck me as very "convenient" of regular blogger to be down so much lately when the new Beta blogger is up and running. I am beginning to wonder if Google are doing it intentionally so more people switch over to it. When in fact they are losing people altoghether to wordpress, typepad and even Ben has moved onto to something called Mog. Which reminds me of Meg and Mog hee.

Btw I am the only person who's spellcheck is not working ?

EDIT: LMAO I just checked my page stats ( vain I know) and I have a new Google search "how to determine if wife wants threesome" Hee. Good luck to the guy on getting that one to fly..

Oh My !

Well I finished my new look site this morning, have a few minor changes to make but they can wait a while.
While I was updating everything it struck me that I hadnt had my blog counter installed for a while, so after a lot of serching I found the site, remembered my username( Pixie is always taken ), and re-installed it into my sidebar.

I was having a quick look at my stats and for reasons that escape me the following list bring up my blog on Google( I left out the boring ones)

 • what is a pixie Top of the list
 • nudist I dont recall discussing nudism ?
 • tacky underwear I blame Pissy
 • pixie peeing What ? why would someone (3 people) be loking up this?
 • dickhead humour/jokes Who me ?never!
 • goldenshower.com WTF?
 • playboy pixie shoes Wonder if they have them in my size ?
 • homemade gnat catcher hello? come again ?
 • australia bastard as if I would....
 • cooking disaster Figures. No surprise there.
 • pixie blog show male makeup ummm...
 • peeing blogspot I beg your pardon ?
 • ex boyfriends balls Now why would I go there ?
 • smelly ladies bathrooms I knew my strage interest in bathrooms would be my down fall.

Hmmm the web works in mysterious ways it seems....

Rain rain go away....

Has it even stopped raining today ?

Most of today has been spent working (tearing my hair out) on my new web site.
I have the main page done and am trying to sort out the mess that are the internal pages, I've given up now....

Anyway here is the finished cover page, I felt "purple", I lost the arch girl logo and opted for an arch fairy (pixie) instead, Tinkerbell cannot be used for commercial gain I am sure....Anyway, I feel in need of a stiff drink now!

Uneventful weekend really, Chinese (vegetable lo-mein) for dinner Friday, Jack in the box for breakfast Saturday, followed by a trip to lovely Wal-Mart.

I did however happen upon these at the dollar store, I didn't even know that salt & vinegar were available here ! Highlight of the weekend !

No title came to mind....

Yesterday I managed to update my webpage, a job I hate doing, not that it's hard it's just boring. I am thinking about a new look for there, the current one has begun to bore me.
Now I just have to come up with something better.Have no ispiration at the moment.

That will have to wait though, I have one day to finish my library book before its due back and I don't want to have to re-new it, I am a little over half way through it so I should manage it.

This getting up at 6.45am is begining to catch up on me, we have been going to bed at like 9pm! Hooray its saturday tomorrow, a lie in. We have plans to go out around 9am which is still early in my book but its an extra hour in bed.
He has another week of 8-5's and then I think its onto the afternoon shift, which has its downsides too, yes you can get up later but he gets home later and then after an hour or so its bed time.Boring Huh ?
He has to wear slacks for work now, and my ironing is almost as bad as my cooking, I can never get the bloody creases right down the front of the legs!
I have decided that we need to purchase an ironing board, I cannot iron on the table or on the floor I need a board. This idea met with a cool reaction, but I will persevere. :)

Thats about it, what a full life I lead Hee.

I don't even think I burnt anything this week either.

Mindless Drivel....

A few updates to ease myself back into blogging...

A few weeks ago someone (allegedly) backed an 18 wheel truck into part of the parking lot fence and knocked it down.
The maintenance guy fixed it last week.
Today I went out to the store to get yet more soda and snacks, upon my return I see a fallen tree, yes you guessed it crushing the fence !

XXXXXXXX
I also have the sad news to report that I have two bitten fingernails thanks to the edge of the seat action in the game tonight. My heart was pounding in the 9th inning. But they won, what a great game despite some mess ups by Chris Duncan ( who walks into a wall ? ).

I admit though I was getting sick and tired of seeing the same few adverts over and over and over....

Note to ad agencies: if you are going to sponsor BIG things that run over a few nights at least fork out and make a SELECTION of ad's PLEASE.
I thought WP was going to throw something at the TV screen if that " Our Country" song had come on once more....

XXXXXXX
Been hard at it over the last few days with more blog designs and a webpage, just thought I would whip this one up after the game tonight. *note to self : don't do "Halloween" too early next year.

XXXXXXX
Don't know what's gotten into me lately but I have become hooked on trashy TV such as Americas next top model (kick out Melrose! )- Me who lives in jeans, rarely wears make up and yet here I am waiting for Wednesday nights to come along.
Even worse, the Ad for the newest quiz "the rich list" I find myself trying to list 20 Tom Cruise movies ( I named 11 without looking) or even harder 40 animated Disney movies ( I am up to 23 and haven't cheated yet). Last night I woke up and the word "Bambi" popped into my head, as soon as I got up this morning I had to write that one on my list!

Forgive Me Father....

For I have sinned, its been 3 weeks since I last blogged.....

I know, I know unforgivable, it's not as thought I have been doing anything of iterest instead.

I don't know why but I havent felt like either blogging or spending time at the PC in general, call it a dry spell.

Wp starts a new job on monday so I will once again be alone all day so will have lots of time to blog and read blogs.

Have still been keeping busy doing blog templates, finished two off today and have another one started.

On a brighter note The Cardinals won their second game tonight YAY! Lets hope they keep it up tomorrow and the rain holds off.

It's been a while ....

I thought I better blog incase people started to think I had been abducted by aliens.
So here I am with not much to say though ...

To be honest I haven't been near the PC much at all, I have read three books and watched TV that's about it basically.

I have not been completely inactive I have been doing some templates, the latest of which was for Brooke, who is new to blogging.

When I opened Firefox this morning I was browsing the "how to of the day" section when I came upon a couple of articles "how to be a great husband" and "how to be a great wife".
Some of the advice leaves a lot to be desired (or maybe that's just me ?)
*from how to be a great wife..
 • Live to please him. Men like to be appreciated even after you've married them. To do so well, be a well-rounded, pleasing person yourself.
Live to please him ? What are we not equal ? Should we not both be aiming to live our lives together in a mutually pleasing way ?
 • Don't have sex unless both of you are "in the mood," but try to be in the mood frequently enough to match his libido.
And what if the wives libido is higher then the guys ? What then ? This plays on the old misconception that once you get married sex stops, and its always the woman's fault.
 • Don't over spend. Even on groceries. Be responsible together with your money.
Again playing on the mis-conception that all women are spend thrifts.WTF!

Now onto the gems of advice for the men..
 • Talk to her about things that interest you, too - don't worry too much that she'll be bored - she'll be thrilled that you want to share your hobbies with her. If possible, try to find an aspect of your interest that she can join in with (if she doesn't already). The efforts you make to help her enjoy what you enjoy will pay off enormously!
Oh yes we women have such small minds that we would be truly thrilled! Don't get me wrong, I try to take an interest in my husbands interests but this is written as though we women will not have the brain capacity to grasp the concept of our husbands interests.
 • Give her unconditional love. Truly unconditional love is a very very radical concept, and it takes a lot of self-discipline. This means love her no matter what. Are you prepared to love her when she's yelling at you and calling you names? When she forgets your birthday? When she's being unfair to you? You don't have to condone these behaviors, but can you still say "I love you" in these cases, and mean it? If you can, that will give her such a feeling of safety and trust that she will love you unconditionally too. If you can't, then you will probably feel unloved when you get angry/distracted/selfish, and display the same behaviors. Remember your vows? Live by those.

Again, who wrote this, what about the men who forget birthdays, who call wives nasty names, being unfair its not only women who do this, so stop implying it is!
 • Cleanliness is a woman's best friend! Try to pick up after yourself.
Cleanliness is a woman's best friend!
yes we women have so little going on in our lives that we are all obsessed with cleanliness... ;)
 • You're welcome to praise your wife in public, but if you notice something you'd like to criticize, please find a private moment.
Works both ways, I know lots of women who criticise their husbands in public too. Both partners should have respect for each other and keep it private.

Yes these "how To's" are certainly full of *cough* shit*cough* advice....

Gosh I can't believe I haven't gotten round to posting for a week!

 • I have been busy with templates for various people. Did (or attempted) my first Podcast for Will of Will & Bens Record Room. These podcast people dont like to make things too easy to change! Thats for sure.
 • Finally finished my own site's new look. Just a few odds and ends to tidy up there.
 • Wp and his bro introduced me to the joys of Diablo II, in a word Hooked! Talking up till 5 am hooked.
 • Lost a whole lot of music on the PC's due to re-formatting etc :(. Still don't think we fully know what has gone, it will probably be one of those things that you remember in 2 months when you go to look for a particular song....
 • WP did however happen upon a kick ass 80's collection. Honestley it could have been written for me, I bought probably 75% of the singles on the list!. the other 25% I probably recorded from the radio: Top 40 Sunday nights, there I would be fingers poised over the Rec button waiting for the best songs.

A break

I just have time between itches to write this post.

I was up really early yesterday (for me ) It was 6.30am and it seemed like a good idea at the time to sit outside in the early morning sun.
I sat outside with my book. I have discovered Anita Blake vampire hunter. Gory books but good. With sexy vampires toboot,
Anyhow I came in after about an hour after something bit me on the arm. Then by last night I was suddenly covered in 8 lumps on my legs and one on my arm. When I say lumps I mean lumps, some of them were around 4 inches wide! All this and they are itching like mad! We decided they are mosquito bites. This is the first time I have had bites like these and I don't want them again I can tell you. They have gone down a little by now but two of them are still pretty big and hot. I know I am not supposed to scratch them but it feels so good yet so bad at the same time...
No wonder I don't get out into the fresh air more often!

On other matters I have been busy doing templates for people, the latest one I am working on has turned into a bath tub them. I was looking around last night for some bathroomy type images ( I wanted a rubber duck that fitted in with my theme) I came across this "PC" bathtub scene.
Two men in a bathtub, nothing wrong with that. The thing that , not annoys me I am not upset by it but more slightly irked (but funny at the same time if you get my drift) is that the "artist" has made one of the guys so sterotypical "gay". He is sporting a Freddie Mercury tash and a big gold hoop earring. I expect he wears leather as well ;)

Much a blog about nothing

Boring Post Warning:

Well today(Tuesday) I cooked spaghetti and meat sauce for dinner and realised how much of a dull life I lead when I remembered that I cooked it last Tuesday too ! This time none ended up on the ceiling though ( well apart from the splatters that are still there from last week*Wink )

The I had a chocoholic moment at around 9 pm ( missed Sex & the City incidentally due to WP's bro watching some crap ) Oh well.. Maybe one day I will be able to buy the bloody box set then I can watch at my leisure. Anyway back to the chocolate craving. All we had in the house was a box of brownie mix well anything will do in an emergency right. So I made it , didn't forget about it tested it but it was still a little soggy in the middle so I left it in the oven and turned it off.

I didn't think they turned out too bad on the whole, sure they are very crispy around the edges but that's how I like em, give me the crispy edge over the soft middle anyday!

Other news, have been really busy of late trying to get my website updated and redesigned, as well as doing a few blogs for various people.
I did have something else to blog about but my mind has now gone blank ???

I will leave you with this little gem:

Gender difference

At the college, male and female students were told to individually write a sentence using the words 'sex' and 'love.'

Females wrote : When two mature people are passionately and deeply in love with one another to a high degree and that they respect each other very much, then, it is spiritually and morally acceptable to the society that they both engage themselves in the act of physical sex with one another.

Men wrote : 'I love sex.'

and a little warning...

No Sex Please......

I'm British.

We were looking at a cartoon yesterday 'Do it like a European" and I happened to comment "Lie back and think of England" When I was looking at the British people. WP didnt have a clue what I was talking about. (as usual) sometimes its like we are speaking completley different languages.
Anyhow I looked up the phrase and here it is acording to good old wikipedia:

The phrase Lie back and think of England is an expression used in the United Kingdom. Traditionally, it was advice given to a woman about having sexual intercourse with her husband. The phrase became popular some decades before the sexual revolution. The assumption was that women were not expected to view sex as pleasurable; instead, women were to view sex as a duty, performed essentially through passive availability.

Since women weren't expected to participate in sex in any meaningful way, or derive any special pleasure from sex, it would not be incongruous to think of something other than sex during sexual acts. Thinking of the continuity of the Empire, through conception and child-rearing, might even make the sexual act more pleasant.

The origins of the phrase are unclear, but it is generally attributed to Lady Alice Hillingdon, wife of the 2nd Baron Hillingdon. She allegedly wrote in her journal in 1912, I am happy now that George calls on my bedchamber less frequently than of old. As it is, I now endure but two calls a week, and when I hear his steps outside my door I lie down on my bed, close my eyes, open my legs and think of England. However, the journal has never been found and there is therefore not verification of her authorship.

The phrase can be used broadly as encouragement for either gender to do something unpalatable.
*So there you go, us Brits dont do sex....

*Complete lie

It wasn't me Gov..Honest

Apologies to anyone who's blog template I have provided images for. Seems photobucket is having some problems. I have four accounts and they are all off. For a while Mimi's blog was just a whole page with the "image no longer there" icons- I nearly fainted when I saw it!

If anyone wants to host their own images, be it from their own photobucket accounts, or imageshack or your own servers. Or even blogger let me know and I will send you all the images and even swap them all out if you are not confident altering your template.

Once again my apologies.

On another note Bloody IE, I make web templates that look great when viewed in Firefox, but view them in IE and they look like shit!

I urge anyone who is still using IE to surf the web to drop it like a hot potato and get Firefox instead. You will never look back.

Happy weekend everyone =)
