A Valentine Message....

Happy Valentines day to everyone out there. Hope everyone has a great one.

As a follow on from yesterdays post , and to prove once and for all that WP is in fact a little bit messy himself, here is a picture of the desk.

You can see in plain view, his hat, his wallet, his credit card, his screwdriver, of course I am responsible for everything else on there, but I cannot work in a neat & tidy environment. I feel out of place.
So there!

One more thing we have been married a whole year today, Yay. so Happy Anniversary Darling!
I bet you have loved every second of it......Right ?*

It's been a while ....

I thought I better blog incase people started to think I had been abducted by aliens.
So here I am with not much to say though ...

To be honest I haven't been near the PC much at all, I have read three books and watched TV that's about it basically.

I have not been completely inactive I have been doing some templates, the latest of which was for Brooke, who is new to blogging.

When I opened Firefox this morning I was browsing the "how to of the day" section when I came upon a couple of articles "how to be a great husband" and "how to be a great wife".
Some of the advice leaves a lot to be desired (or maybe that's just me ?)
*from how to be a great wife..
 • Live to please him. Men like to be appreciated even after you've married them. To do so well, be a well-rounded, pleasing person yourself.
Live to please him ? What are we not equal ? Should we not both be aiming to live our lives together in a mutually pleasing way ?
 • Don't have sex unless both of you are "in the mood," but try to be in the mood frequently enough to match his libido.
And what if the wives libido is higher then the guys ? What then ? This plays on the old misconception that once you get married sex stops, and its always the woman's fault.
 • Don't over spend. Even on groceries. Be responsible together with your money.
Again playing on the mis-conception that all women are spend thrifts.WTF!

Now onto the gems of advice for the men..
 • Talk to her about things that interest you, too - don't worry too much that she'll be bored - she'll be thrilled that you want to share your hobbies with her. If possible, try to find an aspect of your interest that she can join in with (if she doesn't already). The efforts you make to help her enjoy what you enjoy will pay off enormously!
Oh yes we women have such small minds that we would be truly thrilled! Don't get me wrong, I try to take an interest in my husbands interests but this is written as though we women will not have the brain capacity to grasp the concept of our husbands interests.
 • Give her unconditional love. Truly unconditional love is a very very radical concept, and it takes a lot of self-discipline. This means love her no matter what. Are you prepared to love her when she's yelling at you and calling you names? When she forgets your birthday? When she's being unfair to you? You don't have to condone these behaviors, but can you still say "I love you" in these cases, and mean it? If you can, that will give her such a feeling of safety and trust that she will love you unconditionally too. If you can't, then you will probably feel unloved when you get angry/distracted/selfish, and display the same behaviors. Remember your vows? Live by those.

Again, who wrote this, what about the men who forget birthdays, who call wives nasty names, being unfair its not only women who do this, so stop implying it is!
 • Cleanliness is a woman's best friend! Try to pick up after yourself.
Cleanliness is a woman's best friend!
yes we women have so little going on in our lives that we are all obsessed with cleanliness... ;)
 • You're welcome to praise your wife in public, but if you notice something you'd like to criticize, please find a private moment.
Works both ways, I know lots of women who criticise their husbands in public too. Both partners should have respect for each other and keep it private.

Yes these "how To's" are certainly full of *cough* shit*cough* advice....

Kitchen Headcount.

I asked WP to empty the dishwasher yesterday,as he was standing in the kitchen leaning against it waiting for the microwave to finish. He did right away. A while later I opened one of the cupboards only to find things that did not belong there. Only a few things, the measuring jug was with the glassware and the tupperware boxes were with the cheapo plastics (Sometimes we save old cottage cheese, margarine tubs for leftovers etc.
As I moved them I got to wondering how he survived on what little he had in the way of plates, and general kitchen wear. I did a quick count in my head. When I arrived here there was.
 • One small pan
 • 2 x large stockpot style pans. ( He would make a huge pan of chili for example and live off it all week !)
 • 2 Mugs
 • 4 place settings (bowl, side plate , dinner plate)
 • 12 each small / tall glasses.
 • One horrible frying pan.
 • One tiny plastic chopping board.
 • The usual silverware, although the number of knives don't match the forks and spoons ?
 • Old Can opener.
 • 4 Kitchen knives.

I have been here around a year and a half, we now possess ( as well as or in place of):
 • One med steamer/pasta pan.
 • 2 x tefal frying pans( soooooo much easier to clean)
 • 4 mugs.
 • 8 Place settings.
 • One large glass chopping board..
 • New can opener.
 • Various plastic containers & Lids.
 • Oven mitts.
 • Rubber spatula.
 • Various Wooden Spoons.
 • 4 Large Pasta Bowls.
 • One lidded glass casserole dish.
 • 2 glass square/ rectangle oven dishes.
 • 2 individual serving oven dishes.
 • Plastic colander.
 • Pyrex measuring jug.
 • Set of measuring spoons.
 • Kitchen scissors.
 • 2 whisks.
 • Cheese grater.
 • Stainless steel mixing bowl.
 • Kitchen Tongs.
 • Tea towels.
 • Kettle. (stove top)
 • Toaster.
 • Blender.
 • Double size griddle.
 • various bakewear ( why??)
 • Potato peeler (used like once !)
 • 2 teaspoons, stolen from a ponderosa :0

And this is just off the top of my head! and just from one room.
All this for a girl who cant cook! Imagine the supplies I would need if I actually liked to cook?

Not only have I collected all this but nothing lives in the same place it did when I arrived. The contents of all the cupboards have been completly re-worked.

The only bane of my life at the moment in there is the full size trash can that sitts in the corner. I have been campaining/ plotting to get rid of since last year. My defense if that I am the person who takes the trash out and if I don't mind doing it more often then whats the problem?

Do you think I have made my mark yet ?

Someone's in trouble...

I don't know if I would do this. Not because its unfair but because I wouldn't want the world and his wife to know I have been cheated on.

I wonder who caught it on tape ? Perhaps she called upon Cheaters yes alas if I am bored and there is nothing else to watch I will sit ( in amazement sometimes) and watch Joey Greco AKA the Hooded Claw. I don't know why he just reminds me of Penelope Pitstops mortal enemy. I think its the voice, sort of oily.

Seems surveillance must be big business, there is a link on the Cheaters website (which I swear I only visited for the purpose of this blog. ) To a "spy site" . Hey for only $2,292.00 you can purchase a "Covert Portable Plant Basket Camera Bundle ". Or maybe you want to rent the "Vehicle Tracking Device Rental reduced from $400.00 to only $350.00 per week " Or maybe the "Jean Style Camera Jacket at $1,137.00 " Is more your style.

Why not warn others about the lying dogs as well. This site allows scorned ladies to join up and have one big "He's a lying bastard" fest on their forums and whatnot. You can also warn other women in a "name and shame" type of section.

Who knew unfaithfulness would be such big business.

*off to newfound womwnsavers.com to read about fellas who like to dress up as cheerleaders ans wear silk thongs....

What's in a name ?

Ponders: Why are there far more derogatory names for women then there are men ?
We are Slags, Sluts, Whores,Skanks,Bitches, C***s, to name a few. Bitch is used that often that its not even seen as an insult anymore. I hear men refer to women as bitches all the time in everyday conversation.

what's the worst we can call a man ? An asshole, a Jerk, a Dickhead. None of them seem as bad as the names they have for us women. For that matter what defines a woman as a C**nt anyway ? Do we have to behave in a certain way to get that label ?

Sometimes....

I miss having a friend to talk to. Someone who knows me, knows where I am coming from. Someone who isn't involved in my situations who can be objective. It could be a girl or a guy , although the former are lacking from my life, sometimes I can go a week or more with out speaking to another female.
I could email my friends in the UK, but that's not me, somethings are best said in the moment and not written down to then be looked at in the cold light of day.
The stupid thing is I have rarely if ever in the past discussed feelings etc with friends. Its just not me I bottle things up for fear of looking stupid or boring people. I think the difference was before though I knew I had it if I ever needed it. I could make new friends but it takes time to build a relationship to that point where you can say what you want and not be judged.
I just want to know that there are people who like me for who I am in my life no matter what.
Afterall, everybody needs a friend now and again....
Sometimes I would even give my right arm for a sibling. I know people moan about them but at least you( well mostly) have someone there for you.

Baby You're A Rich Man

Well I cant say I didn't think this day would come , but still you could have knocked me down with a feather when WP told me that Paul & Goldigger* sorry Heather have split.

McCARTNEY AND MILLS SPLIT: OFFICIAL STATEMENT IN FULL

"Having tried exceptionally hard to make our relationship work given the daily pressures surrounding us, it is with sadness that we have decided to go our separate ways.

"Our parting is amicable and both of us still care about each other very much but have found it increasingly difficult to maintain a normal relationship with constant intrusion into our private lives, and we have actively tried to protect the privacy of our child.

"Separation for any couple is difficult enough, but to have to go through this so publicly, especially with a small daughter, is immensely stressful.

"We hope, for the sake of our baby daughter, that we will be given some space and time to get through this difficult period."

I don't see how he can blame the press for this one although I no longer read the British press daily as far as I am aware they were not particularly being hounded in anyway.
In fact the last I read about her she was in the news for her work with PETA.

Of course there was much talk and slander done by the press when they anounced their plans to marry. McCartney is seen somewhat as a national institution in the UK. When it emerged that only a year after Lindas death he was to marry an Ex "model" 25 years his junior of course there were some raised eyebrows. The news that his grown up kids all disliked her only added fuel to the fire, as did his sudden need to dye his hair jet black and acting younger. One member of the press said that McCartney , once so dignified with Linda would now "turn up to the opening of an envelope"
Then of course there was the news that he had refused to put a pre-nup in place stating that they" we too in love to think about it'.
My how that will now come to bite him on the ass.

WHEN Paul McCartney wed Heather Mills in 2002 he decided against a prenuptial deal to keep his £825million fortune.

The couple said they were "too in love" to think about it.

But if they eventually divorce, Lady McCartney could walk away £200million richer.

Sir Paul is Britain's second richest musician after former record label boss Clive Calder.

Heather would not be entitled to any of his money from the Beatles and Wings but she could cash in on his income during their time together.

A leading divorce lawyer said: "His earnings are in the region of £25million a year so she can expect around £50million for the four years.

"Because he is worth so much more she is also entitled to a certain standard of living which could see her walk away with £200million."

Macca, 65th in the Sunday Times' rich list, made £48.5million alone from record sales and his US tour last year.

Poor macca.

Bitch Bitch Bitch.....

Or the one where Pixie moans a lot.

Dear Webpirate please don't read any further. I'm just venting my bad mood ;)

Today's Moans :

I wanted Pizza, had cheese pizza on the mind, they ordered Chinese, of which I am tired of. I ended up with peanut butter on toast and frosted flakes.

I hate the world poker series with passion.

I finished the book I was reading, which was quite good. A baby/ organ smuggling ring with the main character falling for the rugged half Mexican assassin and living happily ever after.

I received Junes Redbook in the mail but have already finished it.

I am tired and cranky after spending most of the day alone. Now I need to be left alone with my woes .

Thank you and goodnight ;)
