Hmmm a quickie is supposed to last 20 minutes, I feel a little short changed now.

Anyhoo moving on, I have managed to visit most people today, found a few are missing? Nutz, Novak & Brucie anyone ?

I had forgotten just how tedious word verification can be, especially when you enter it wrong, hit enter and close the comments window without anything saving!

Updates as promised ( as boring as they are)

Been to the movies lots of times, don't you find that you don't go for ages and then seem to do nothing but go.
Movies watched over the last week or so: Die Hard 4, Oceans 13, Tranformers, Harry Potter (complete with little brats screaming and running up and down the steps), I think there was something else to but I cant remember it.

Cant think of any particular TV shows I cannot miss, have been watching Age of love pretty much every week, started to watch Pirate Master but them forgot what night and channel it was on.

Read all 5 flowers in the attic to satisfy my unexplained yearning to read them again, cried (as in really sobbed) at the end of book 5 when Chris dies and then Cathy.

Well Harry Potter has been and gone, I walked all the way to Boarders on release day, queued for my ticket, then queued for my book and free poster ( which I am not allowed to put up). Rushed home and began reading....Next thing the telephone rang and its WP's bro calling to tell me he has bought me Harry Potter ( Bless him). I felt terrible telling him that I had just been out and bought it, it was so nice and thoughtful of him, hes not a bad lad, he could be tidier but still.

Then by the nest afternoon it was all over, the end. I know know Harry's fate.

What the hell am I going to do now, that's it, over....

Well for one thing I have now re-bought the first 5 books ( from e-bay & Amazon I paid a premium as people are now cashing in on the fact that everybody and his dog ( well almost) are after HP stuff). Point in case, last month I could have got the first five books (used) in the box set on Amazon for a little over $20. Of course I put it off and put it off, now the cheapest ones on there are $89.

In the meantime I have bugger all to read.

we have changed bank's to a local credit union, turning out to be a big mistake...Yesterday I paid a few bills over the telephone by card, went to a few stores and used the card, then we had dinner in steak and shake, went to pay and the card was declined!!

Got right on the telephone ( after using another card) with the bank, guess what they said?
You are only allowed 10 credit card transactions a day!!! WTF. If there is money in the account I should be able to use it 100 times in a day should I choose to.

Its a security measure.

Ok so there are two cards linked to that account his & mine, say he buys gas on the way to work, breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch and soda in the afternoon.
I got to the post office, Walgreens, pick up some dry cleaning and pop into a couple of other stores. thats the whole days transactions used up.
Hmmm and I thought the banking world were trying to get us away from cash.


I have spent the majority of the day trying to get my new site up and running, only a few more pages to go.....Thank God.

Annnnd thats about all I can think of now.

The one with the moans...

I have decided I need to be more assertive and stand up for myself, for too long I have been under the line of thinking that when you say "no" it means you are mean and unhelpful.

Me on the phone to Walmart...

Walmart: Hello this is Walmart how may I help you ?
Me: yes I returned something 2 weeks ago and and want to know how long it takes for the money to be put back into my bank account,
Walmart: Hold on.

Walmart (cuts me off mid sentence): Hold.

Walmart (cuts me off mid sentence): Hold.

Walmart(same woman): Hello this is Walmart how may I help you ?
Me: *sigh*yes I .....
Walmart (cuts me off mid sentence): Yes I am trying to put you through (really then why do you keep answering the dam phone?), they must have left for the day (it's 2.45pm).You will have to call back tomorrow.
Me: Thank....*phone call is cut off*.

Wps Bro comes home walks into the bedroom and places a tenner on the desk in front of me...

WB: This is for laundry.
Me: Well I am not going to the bank (The machines take quarters) today ( I only walk to the bank when I want quarters for laundry- I have nother reason to walk all the way to the bank)...
WB: Well thats fine whenever you do...

He leaves the room and shuts the door.

Now dont get me wrong I have no objection to sorting out his stinky socks (I wear plastic bags on my hands Hee), I have no objection to washing it all, folding it and hanging it all up neatly in his room, but come on. He has transport, I dont. He has been to the mall this morning (where they have a change machine). He has been to the Gym (across the street from the bank), could he have not gotten quarters then ? I could have had it all done by now...

As it is I am going to give it him back and ask him to get some quarters and then I will do it, but it wont be until Saturday afternoon at the earliest (WP is off tomorrow & Friday so I am buggered if I am going to do it then)

This is just two examples of many I often find myself doing things for people because I dont want to seem mean if I say the N word.


I wonder if Pissy could come up with an online class to help me out.

Cant keep me down for long....

I am back and in fighting spirits...

Yesterday I had somewhat of a mini-meltdown, I wont go into the details it was so stupid.
So here I am.

I have a few moans and some niceness.
First the moans...

• Wp's Brother People who use the last of the toilet roll and leave the empty roll sitting on the holder. Get off your ass open the cupboard and replace it!
• Wp's Brother People who can plainly see the trash waiting to be taken out, yet walk right past it to leave the house, passing the trash dumpster on the way out! Where does it say its my job alone to take the trash out ?

Moans over, now the niceness..
I received an email today from Michele Rausch today, she was the young lady who sung the national anthem at the STL blues hockey game we went to.
She emailed me to thank me for mentioning her in my post. Wasn't that so sweet of here to take the time to email, it really brightened my day. Thanks Michele!

I have just finished the blog I was working on for Genevieve, she was a dream customer, just a few changes here and there but I pretty much had free reign.

Today's Moans :

I wanted Pizza,had cheese pizza on the mind, they ordered Chinese, of which I am tired of. I ended up with peanut butter on toast and frosted flakes.

I hate the world poker series with passion.

I finished the book I was reading, which was quite good. A baby/ organ smuggling ring with the main character falling for the rugged half Mexican assassin and living happily ever after.

I received Junes Redbook in the mail but have already finished it.

I am tired and cranky after spending most of the day alone. Now I need to be left alone with my woes .
