For dinner WP requested biscuits, covered in sausage in white gravy, with eggs on top ( and you people say we English are odd for liking mushy peas ?)
So I set to work, Biscuits were the frozen kind so no trouble there, sausage just tip it in the pan and fry it, no problem, eggs the same. White gravy (which is basic white sauce, or bechamel in England- although we tend not to eat it as gravy like you Americanos...)
Melt the butter add in the flour to form a roux, then the milk blah, blah blah- I don't know why I am bothering to explain all this, you guys have been making it for years right ?
Anyhow WOOOOOOOOO no lumps at all- Go Me!! I cooked it up and added in the sausage YUK it looks like porridge, or brains or something.
See what I mean :
Despite its unappetizing look he ate his platter clean.
