The search for the perfect smell...

All the time I have been here I have been searching for a body spray we both like!
Whats with the US they don't do a whole lot of body sprays for women (unless I haven't found the right store yet)

In England we have a brand called Impulse, they may sell it here somewhere I have yet to see any :spray" sprays, they all seem to be "body mists" with the pump style spray.
Anyway Impulse Tag line: "Men cant help acting on impulse" is pretty cheap (around under 2 pounds a can) they have lots of smells to choose from so you can find one thats right for you. Don't want to spend the extra cash on Impulse? No problem every food store and chemist sell body sprays galore from own brand ranges to perfume manufacturers brands.

Anyway to the point of my post I have bought untold body sprays whilst here and have still yet to find one.
on a rare trip to the mall WP wanted to buy Victorias Secrets Strawberries & Champagne body spray ( his favourite smell in the world he said) They were out,but he mentioned it a few times more over the following few months.

One day I was in the mall alone and walked past their store, I remembered the body spray so I went in and blew a tenner on some.

Wore it, no mention of it at all, until one day I pointed it out. I was told it " smells different on me" and "Why would "I want to smell like other women" - Fact is I didn't and was an impulse buy, it crossed my mind the second I stepped out of the store that I didn't want to be smelling like "those who had been there before"

Anyway after a few heated words I tipped the remainder (most of it ) down the sink, I never want to smell that smell again.

So on we go in search for the perfect scent.

Among them I have bought :
Sweet pea - "too young and teenager like"
Vanilla- " Smells like cooking and food"
Something and ginger - Without thinking because he told me only days before never to buy gingersnaps he loathes them.
Orange & Verbena - he liked it

Ok perhaps we have a winner, not the one but a winner for now.

Last night, we were sitting on the floor watching TV, he leans over and kisses my hair
"you smell like cleaning stuff"
"do I ?" *thinking
"I washed my hair a few hours ago"

It wasn't until later on when I was getting ready for bed that it came to me, the body spray! I have been going around smelling like Orange Glo


*sigh my quest continues....
