Manic Monday...

Wp's first day in his new job ( he's a been a big pain in the ass but I am still gonna miss him )

By 8.30am I was bored.

Don't want to spend too much time on the PC because it's sick, It's crashed 3 times over the weekend blue screen of death and all.

I have moved all of my files ( crap and all) over to the external drive in anticipation. Yesterday when I turned it on I got a "system boot failure" but then it perked up a little. Although now and again it makes this little whine noise as though it wants me to leave it alone.

I could use Wp's with him being not here but his PC is too neat and tidy for me. I like my organised mess.

So back to yesterday's boredom, It's a pretty sad affair when you clean the oven for want of something to do!
Yes that right I cleaned the oven. Of course I nearly gassed my self out with the oven cleaner fumes.I cut my thumb in two places, I have no idea how but boy does that oven cleaner sting when it gets into a cut!

You would think that cleaning the oven would be enough for one day but no as well as clean the bathroom (including the ceiling) I thought it was time to "move" a few things around in the kitchen too.

You may remember my "pasta sauce on the ceiling" tale ( yes I did clean it off ages ago) but the cause of it was reaching into the cupboard over the extractor hood for something.
I don't know why I didn't just move all the spices etc out of there a year and a half ago! afterall not all of us are 6 feet tall.
So everything from that cupboard is now in a lower place, where I can actually see what I am looking for usually I am groping around blindly. Of course empty a cupboard and you have to then clean it before putting stuff back in there. I did notice a few pasta sauce splashes on the inside of the door so I got them too.
So basically the cooking spices are where the oven dishes and plastics where, the plastics are where the spices where and the oven dishes are in a base unit that was full of paper grocery bags and junk.

Why stop there, why not clean out under the sink too ( I was on a roll ). After a quick trip to Big Lots for some plastic storage trays, everything is so neat and tidy under the sink too.

But wait! if you are gonna sort out under the kitchen sink it makes sense to sort out under the bathroom sink too right ? ( I picked up extra storage boxes) so now under the bathroom sink is tidy too, cleaning supplies in one tray, bathroom toiletries in the other.

Why stop at that, with my last container I sorted everything that is on the closet shelf, medicines, bite creams etc.

I also had time to vacuum throughout , make a meat lasange and a fake meat lasange for dinner and get this shower and slap some make up on so I looked like a devoted wife by the time he got home!





One more thing as I was looking for an apt cleaning picture for my post guess who I should see? Remember a while ago when I posted the pic of the two guys in the tub well it seems they like to shower toghether too...
