I talk too much ?
Well my move went well.
My fingers were sore from all that scrubbing I did.
Broken nails and little cuts on my fingers.
My back was aching.
I could feel myself getting a little stressed now and again- they say moving is one of the most stressful events. We only moved across the hall that was enough!
Of course the fact that I did 95% of it alone did nothing to lift my burden.
I think we are pretty sorted here also, just need to hang the pictures and buy some furniture.
I like it, there are oddles of storage closets so the place looks clutter free.
Best of all, I got rid of the large trash can WP insisted on using. it was sooooo nice today just taking out a small carrier bag of trash instead of a hulking big black sack.
Who cares if I have to take it out more often, not me!
Its so nice not to have to look at ot sitting in the corner.
Now to my title subject:
I guessed we talked more, most men you are lucky if you get a grunt here and there out of them. But we get a buzz from the sound of our own voice!
I have to say I hate the sound of my voice, so much that when I used to work on the customer service desk I would ring the reception desk and have then tannoy announcements for me. I have even been known to walk the whole store in search of the person I was after, anything rather then use the tannoy and hear my voice broadcast throughout the whole store. The thought of hundereds of people listening to me was just too much.
Even now if I am using the phone I have to go into another room because I don't like to use the phone in front of other people. Not because i dont want then to listen in but because it makes me feel uncomfortable.

It is something one half of the population has long suspected - and the other half always vocally denied. Women really do talk more than men.
In fact, women talk almost three times as much as men, with the average woman chalking up 20,000 words in a day - 13,000 more than the average man.
Women also speak more quickly, devote more brainpower to chit-chat - and actually get a buzz out of hearing their own voices, a new book suggests.

The article goes on to say :
The book - written by a female psychiatrist - says that inherent differences between the male and female brain explain why women are naturally more talkative than men..
In The Female Mind, Dr Luan Brizendine says women devote more brain cells to talking than men.
And, if that wasn't enough, the simple act of talking triggers a flood of brain chemicals which give women a rush similar to that felt by heroin addicts when they get a high
Dr Brizendine, a self-proclaimed feminist, says the differences can be traced back to the womb, where the sex hormone testosterone moulds the developing male brain.
The areas responsible for communication, emotion and memory are all pared back the unborn baby boy.
The result is that boys - and men - chat less than their female counterparts and struggle to express their emotions to the same extent.
"Women have an eight-lane superhighway for processing emotion, while men have a small country road," said Dr Brizendine, who runs a female "mood and hormone" clinic in San Francisco.
There are, however, advantages to being the strong, silent type. Dr Brizendine explains that testosterone also reduces the size of the section of the brain involved in hearing - allowing men to become "deaf" to the most logical of arguments put forward by their wives and girlfriends.
