The good samaritan.

So I feel I must address the fact that Webpirate was not mentioned in my post yesterday. Yes we did go out to dinner together of course. We left the house around 5.30 and of course the roads were busy busy busy due to people driving home from work. More people trying to get into the mall - Hey people get a little bit crazy at this time of year right ?

So we drove a few feet, hit another red light , drove some more. Well you get the picture.

For the benefit of you in ST Louis we were driving along Lindberg at peak time.

Each direction has two lanes with exits and entrances onto the highway, so you can imagine the scene. I looked over into the opposite direction and there was all this commotion, a car had stopped dead on the inside lane, it had its hazard lights flashing, couldn't see into the car because they were tinted. Anyway we continued to drive past, there were people beeping their horns, trying to get into the next lane to pass the car etc. I kept looking back, not one person stopped to help out.

Ok so I know in this day and age you have to be very wary about stopping to help people out, but this car was in the middle of 100's of people.

We drove by and turned to go to the restaurant which overlooks Lindberg but you have to double back on the road behind to get to it. (Do I make sense ?)
Anyway we get out of the truck and WP tells me to go order while he went to help the person in the car.

Thats how come I was left to my own devices in line talking to strange men.

He was being a good Samaritan.

I cant believe by the time he got there still nobody had stopped to help- even if it was just to push the car more into the side so people could pass.

So there we have it, WP is not all bad, despite his tough exterior he does have a kind heart hidden in there.

Of course I knew this thats why I married him but he doesn't always let other people see it.
