Im Going Slightly Mad....

I'm one card short of a full deck

That's it! I think I have lost my last marble! A few months ago I vaguely remembered surfing through BBC news and reading that Gene Pitney had been found dead in his hotel room in the UK. I didn't know much about him other then I remember my Gran used to listen to him. I mentioned it to WP and we had this "I don't know who the hell you are talking about" conversation. I think he gave up listening after about two minutes of my explaining that he recorded a song with the guy from Soft Cell.

Anyway a good few weeks later there was an ad on TV for Branson (MO) and they were advertising gene Pitney , and someone else who's name has now escaped me. I turned to WP and said " I thought he was dead" " Well if he was dead they would not be advertising him in Branson". I was sitting at the PC so I typed in "Gene Pitney dead" in Google......Nothing, at all. I typed in a few other key words . Nothing.
WP said I was obviously crazy . I thought about it and decided I must have had a dream conversation about it with him. The only odd thing being I usually never remember my dreams at all and this was like "Real Life". Over the next few week (as recent as last week) I have had fleeting thoughts about my dream.

Fast forward to tonight and I am reading an article from April about Brad Pitt making the top 100 unsexiest men (due to a rumour about BO!!). Anyway I searched for more articles about this story when I came upon a random blog. The entry underneath it was a Titled "Gene Pitney found dead in hotel room in Wales" !! I admit I was taken aback and turned to WP(after scaring him with my loud exclamation) with an "I told you so" conversation starter. I swear we had the exact same conversation as we did months ago with the whole "I don't know who the hell you are talking about" thing again.

I had a horrible Deja Vu kind of thing going on. He still said he didn't remember so now I am thinking that the Branson ad and resulting conversation was a dream.....
